Are there any updates for Cure/Vaccines
Hi Bella,
I was wondering has there been any updates. I know it probably too soon. I am trying to stay hopeful. We all need to pray for a miracle. I believe God will gives us another. Everyone who has been affecteded could donate whatever they can. There is a website that is accepted donations. I will continue to donate because I want to be cure. I know everyone who has it wants to be cure too. So, even its $5, 10 or 20 or whatever it helps. The longer people dont help the longer it takes the researcher to gives a cure. I believe U F have a cure. Lets all pull together in time of need.

i'm reading the information on vivagel and i fail to see how this helps us women who already suffer from hsv2, or our partners... since it is a coating on a condom, and hsv2 can be transmitted with condoms, what is it, or how is it, really preventing anything?

Possible Cure
Vigagel is a vaccine that helps people that dont have it and might helps us that do have it. I am willing to try anything the researchers come out with.

Ok, so it's a cream, but it's no ordinary cream. Nanobio's NB-001 uses extremely small particles called nanodroplets, which penetrate the skin and attack the virus directly. It makes Zovirax look antiquated.
.
Do you have ANY further info on this? What stage trial is it in ? Are further trials being conducted if so where?! They say this is more effective than even HIGH DOSE oral acyclovir! This could be a miracle drug for those who get weekly outbreaks.

The trials seem to show that it works, and it's Nanobio's closest-to-market drug:

Answering my own question. A nice rep from the company told me phase III trials will start recruiting in the fall, to start checking clinicaltrials.gov in july or contact him back for information on trial sites. Their phase 2b trial showed effectiveness was on par with oral famvir, more far more effective than oral valtrex or any of the 3 FDA-approved topical treatments ( denavir, zovirax and abreva)
