Default Valtrex condom

I met my girl friend 1 months ago. 2 weeks later, she told me that she has herps 2. I still like her all.She said she will take valtrex every day. I read about don't use condoms, there is only 2 percent change her year that will transmitt to me. If I condom it's just 1 percent. That is about as low as change transmission doesn't occur in 99 percent of long term monogamous. I prefer don't use condom. is it ok 2 percent change her year?
Thx

I thought that there was a 5% chance of catching the virus when there are no visial signs on the virus which can then be reduced to 2% with protection. Of course since a condom doesnt cover the entire gential area it doesnt provide 100% effective cover to prevent further infection to another.

If you deicde to for go the protection and not use anything then fine, thats down to you. But dont be fooled by the chances only being 5%. I fell into that trap, along with many on this forum..... viral shedding does occur and it its occuring (which is hard to tell when it is for some) that person is contgious.

Oh and since your not a fan on condoms, I would take that to mean you dont use them with others either? Have you recently been tested for all STI's? Dont want to go giving this girl something else when she has been open with you about wot she has.
