classes. They have a weekly support group called the "Big Group." This

Support group for gay men who are HIV positive and have been living with HIV or
AIDS at least five years. The group intends to provide a safe context for long
term survivors to explore issues and concerns such as: feeling socially isolated
and unsupported by friends or family, how to proceed with dating and
relationships, discomfort about "coming out" as HIV positive, concerns
about career and life pursuits, maintaining physical health and emotional well
being. The group meets weekly for eight weeks and is facilitated by Patrick
Johnson, a licensed clinical psychologist who is experienced working with gay
clients with HIV/AIDS. The usual cost is $40.00 per session and there are
sliding fee and scholarship possibilities as well. Call Patrick Johnson for more

HIV Positive Men Becoming Sexually Safer Together

Anonymous telephone counseling groups facilitated by masters level mental health
therapists. These groups provide support for developing and maintaining safer
sexual behaviors for HIV positive men who are concerned about either
transmitting HIV or getting a sexually transmitted disease. A nine week
commitment is requested from participants with an optional follow up group
